What does an evacuation plan show for offices and blocks of flats?
The written plan and relevant drawings show building-specific escape procedures, routes, roles and operational arrangements. The plan must reflect the building’s fire strategy rather than assume every building uses the same approach.
How does a plan account for people who need help to leave?
PEEPs and GEEPs identify assistance and arrangements for people who cannot leave without help. RiSKFiX works with the Responsible Person and staff on roles, procedures and practical drills.
